Indian National Academy of Engineering in collaboration with Birla Institute of Technology Mesra is organizing an annual flagship event “National Frontiers of Engineering (NatFoE-23) under the aegis of INAE-SERB conclave on Atmanirbhar Technologies -Engineering Secured Future".

The aim of the conclave is to bring together young and outstanding engineering professionals (aged~27-45 years) from the industry, universities, and research organizations to deliberate upon emerging and leading-edge research and development work in the domain of engineering and technology. The overall purpose of the conclave is to interact and achieve synergy at distinctive scientific levels through presentations and discussions.

The "Innovation in Manufacturing Practices" (IMP 2023) National Level Project Competition aims to give engineering undergraduate, postgraduate, startups, and PhD researchers a forum to present their project work relating to innovations in the manufacturing industry. The final event will be held on 26th June 2023. This provide a platform for engineering undergraduate, postgraduate students and startups/PhD scholars to showcase their project work related to innovations in manufacturing sector. A total of 18 entries will be shortlisted for presentation during IMP-2023, and the top six teams will be chosen by a national committee of INAE specialists. Each team i.e. Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Startup/PhD Scholars will get a cash award of Rs 40,000/- (1st Prize) and Rs 20,000/- (2nd Prize) after demonstrating their prototype product.
