6th Research Colloquium (RESCOL–VI) is scheduled to be held from 14th to 15th July 2026 and is open to PhD students from BIT Mesra (main campus), its extension centres, and selected external premier institutes.
RESCOL–VI offers an excellent platform for young researchers across BIT campuses to showcase their innovations and engage in meaningful academic exchange with peers and faculty members. Your active support in mobilising participation will be invaluable to the success of this event.
This year, participants can register for five thematic specialisation groups and present their work in either oral or poster format.
Group-1 Electronics & Communication Engg., Electrical & Electronics Engg., Computer Science Engg.
Group 2 – Architecture, Civil & Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production, Remote Sensing, Space Engineering & Rocketry
Group 3 – Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry
Group 4 – Bioengineering & Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences & Technology
Group 5- QEDS, Management, Humanities
Separate awards will be presented for the best oral and poster presentations in each group.
