Essential-

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Engineering/Management/Planning or related discipline from a recognized University/Institute.

Experience: Minimum 15 years of professional experience in infrastructure development, project management, and compliance-related matters in a University of repute, Government organization, or reputed industry/company.

Specialization: Demonstrated expertise in government liaison, statutory compliance, and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects.

Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills with proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and complex projects.

Desirable:

• Experience in handling multi-crore infrastructure projects in higher education or industry.
• Familiarity with digital project monitoring tools, ERP systems, and modern compliance frameworks.
• Ability to drive innovation, sustainability, and efficiency in institutional development.
• Experience in dealing with State Government, projects, units and schemes.

Mandatory Qualities: Disciplined, ethical, punctual and knowledgeable person of impeccable integrity and willingness to learn and adapt.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead planning, execution, and monitoring of major infrastructure development projects of the University.

2. Ensure strict compliance with statutory, regulatory, and accreditation requirements (AICTE, UGC, NAAC, NBA, AISHE, etc.).

3. Establish and maintain effective liaison with government departments, statutory bodies, and external agencies for project approvals, clearances, and funding.

4. Oversee project budgeting, resource allocation, and timely completion of development initiatives.

5. Provide strategic inputs for long-term campus expansion, modernization, and sustainability initiatives.

6. Coordinate with internal departments, consultants, and contractors to ensure quality standards and adherence to institutional norms.
