M. Pharm. Pharmacology


Course Details

The proposed course aims to acquiant students with physiological and biochemcal effects and interaction of drugs/ pharmaceuticals/ chemicals on human body. In this 2 years Full Time Residential Course,  students are trained to handle and use animals to set up experiments and test the effects (both therapeutic and toxic effects) of drugs/ pharmaceuticals/ natural products at physiological, molecular and sub-molecular level. 

Course Structure



GPAT qualified candidates – Based on academic record and GPAT score

  • Merit list is prepared on the basis of 80% weightage to GPAT Score and
  • 20% weightage to Class 10, 12 and graduation / Postgraduation marks  

Non-GPAT candidates – Based on academic record and Entrance Test

  • Merit list is prepared on the basis of 80% weightage to marks obtained in Entrance Test and
  • 20% weightage to Class 10, 12 and graduation / Postgraduation marks
