PEO for B. Tech (Electronics & Communication Engineering)

  1. To develop an ability to apply the knowledge acquired in basic sciences and engineering for solving Electronics and Communication Engineering problems with regards to technical, economic, environmental and social contexts.
  2. To nurture confident and competent graduates capable to design and test analog & digital electronic systems for the given specifications.
  3. To foster graduates to engineer modern communication systems to meet today’s requirements.
  4. To inculcate an attitude to work in a team using technical knowhow, software tools and working environments to achieve project goals.

PO for B. Tech (Electronics & Communication Engineering)

The graduates of this program will

  1. Demonstrate knowledge on fundamental principles and concepts, apart from the knowledge on various systems, standards and their applications related to Electronics and Communication Engineering.
  2. Have ability for in depth analytical and critical thinking in order to conceptualize, analyze, design and improve different kinds of electronic systems and communication applications reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences and engineering sciences.
  3. Have ability to design system components and processes meeting all applicable consideration for public health and safety, cultural, societal and environmental considerations.
  4. Have ability to investigate and analyze complex problems and development of appropriate solution.
  5. Have ability to use lab equipment using modern tools and relevant simulation software to perform measurements, experiments, design and analysis.
  6. Be able to apply reasoning informed contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to professional engineering practice.
  7. Exhibit understanding of societal and environmental issues (health, legal, safety, cultural etc.) relevant to professional engineering practice and demonstrate knowledge of and the need for sustainable development.
  8. Be committed to professional ethics, responsibilities and economic, environmental, societal, and political norms.
  9. Have ability to work as an individual, in a team or team leader, in a multidisciplinary team.
  10. Have ability in written and oral communications to effectively communicate product design and analysis.
  11. Develop know-how in project management and finance to acquire leadership position in industry.

PEO for Instrumentation Engineering

  1. To enable students to acquire in-depth knowledge in the field of Instrumentation Engineering with an ability to integrate existing and new knowledge with the advancement of the technology.
  2. To develop students to critically analyze the problems in the field of Instrumentation Engineering and find optimal solution.

  3. Demonstrate the degree of mastery in Instrumentation Engineering at a level higher than the requirements in the appropriate bachelor program.
  4. Recognize the need for continuous learning and to prepare themselves to create, select and apply appropriate techniques and tools to undertake activities in the field of Instrumentation Engineering with an understanding of the limitations.
  5. Demonstrate professional and intellectual integrity, professional code of conduct, and ethics of research with an understanding of responsibility to contribute in the field of Instrumentation Engineering for sustainable development of society.
  6. Possess knowledge and understanding of engineering with management principles to apply the same as a member or leader in a team to carry out research work/projects efficiently in the field of Instrumentation and other multidisciplinary areas.

PEO for Microwave Engineering

  1. To enable students in Microwave Engineering with expert and professionals in the present generation of Advanced communication techniques.
  2. To develop the capability of independent research project in Microwave Engineering applying research principles and methods.
  3. To train the postgraduate in Microwave Communication with the depth knowledge of various subject of present day interest like Advanced Electromagnetics, EMI/EMC, Microwave material, Microwave Imaging, Smart Antennas, Satellite& mobile Communication.
  4. To train the postgraduate having the knowledge of different simulation tools used for measure the performance and diagnose the RF and communication signals and systems.
  5. To prepare students for Compiling and interpreting research data and presenting them in an appropriate format with scientific presentation, taking into consideration scientific principles and methodology, as well as practical applicability.
  6. To train students a high level of autonomy, accountability, credibility, ethics, and responsibility for all personal work outputs in the advanced RF field. 

PO for Microwave Engineering

  6. Acquire skills in handling instruments, tools, techniques and modelling using advanced software & tools.
