Scope of the Committee

The Committee is responsible for enunciating the academic mission and executing the Institutional strategies regarding Academic Affairs as well as monitoring the effectiveness of the Academic Programmes of the Institute.

            The Committee is dedicated for consideration of Academic Activities of the Institute. The Committee shall consider all matters related to the academic affairs of the students governed by the academic ordinances of the Institute.

All matters related to policy formulation regarding the Academic Affairs of the Institute with consideration of necessary requirements as per regulatory norms, as stated in the Academic Ordinances shall be referred and deliberated upon by the Committee.

            Any other relevant matters referred by the Vice Chancellor, for consideration, from time to time.

Meeting and Quorum

The Committee shall meet as often as may be necessary but at least once in a month. The attendance of at least seven (07) members shall constitute the quorum for the meeting.

Role of the Member Secretary

  1. Scheduling and administration of meeting, recordkeeping, and governance requirements.
  2. Making sure meetings regularly organized and minutes recorded effectively.
  3. Thorough communication and correspondence with all stakeholders.
  4. Minutes/Recommendations of Committee shall be duly approved by the Competent Authority.
