Dedicated to empowering the youth of Jharkhand, the University Polytechnic offers diploma programs that pave the way for a brighter future. Recognized as one of the premier Diploma Engineering Institutions in the state, it provides a strong foundation across various engineering disciplines. Accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the institution’s Department of Computer Engineering and Electronics & Communications Engineering programs are particularly distinguished with NBA accreditation.

Our students are proudly placed in esteemed industries such as WIPRO, L&T, Tata Motors, CEAT, Gabriel India Ltd., Spicer, Wheels India Ltd., and Bajaj Auto, among others. Additionally, many embark on a higher education journey at various prestigious engineering colleges and universities.

Offering a fully residential experience, the campus features three spacious hostels—two for boys and one for girls—happily accommodating around 700 students. Set against the backdrop of lush green forests and conveniently located near National Highway 33, the 16-acre campus on the outskirts of Ranchi inspires learning and growth. With a dedicated team of twenty-five full-time faculty members, alongside visiting faculty from BIT Mesra, students receive unparalleled guidance and support. The library, with a rich collection of 13,000 books and well-maintained laboratories, along with a proactive training and placement cell, National Service Scheme (NSS) initiatives, and diverse sports facilities, create an enriching environment for holistic development.
