The institute has a wel equiped dispensary with basic facilities and medical staff. University Polytechnic all staff and students can avail facilities. The BIT Dispensary having 30 bed (including 8 bed for isolation) and are fully functional.

The Dispensary is functioning in all the 3 shifts (Round the clock 24x7) including Sunday & Holidays attending all OPD and IPD & Emergency Cases.

College Registered medical Practitioner serve the all student, staff and families. College have 5 Allopathathic & 1 Homeopathic Doctor and they serve in day and night shift with 20 paramedical staff and Pharmacist. College also provide Dentist, Physiotherapist, ENT, Skin, & Gynecologist medical facilities every week in scheduled time.

The dispensary is functioning essentially as a primary health centre and patients who need specialized treatment or hospitalization are referred to multi specialty hospitals. All students and staff members & their two dependent children are under Mediclaim policy by Oriental General Insurance Company.

The Health Centre is equipped with 4 Ambulances with oxygen cylinders & first aid kits in all the shifts.
