BITMAA
BITMAA, or the Birla Institute of Technology Alumni Association, Mesra, is the formal alumni body that connects the sprawling BIT family, with members across seven decades. Constituted in several chapters within India and abroad, BITMAA is an active endeavour of the former graduates of the esteemed institution of BIT MESRA, to remain connected in a fruitful manner. Through BITMAA, the alumni community organizes events such as reunions, mentorship programs, networking opportunities; trying to give back to the alma mater.

Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, has been incessantly ranked amongst the top engineering institutes in the country by leading Indian ranking agencies and publications. Right from its inception since 1955, notable and famous alumni have served as the face of BIT Mesra, strengthening its appeal with every passing generation. We have always taken pride in how this institution nurtures students to achieve extraordinary accomplishments in life. These accomplishments have been possible only because of the academic standards and the multiple learning opportunities that we have been providing to our students. The adroit graduates of our college are well settled in sundry parts of the world and have a zeal to contribute and give back to their alma mater. The emotional closeness to one's alma mater is typically far stronger than the attachment to any other brand in one's life. Alumni of our college are among our most puissant assets, and premier brand representatives. We value this interconnection with them and are appreciative of their constructive opinions and viewpoints. A countless number of alumni also serve as substantial recruiters and help us in establishing valuable links between academia and industry. Hence we are grateful for our strong alumni network and make a consistent effort to powerfully mobilise this bond to engage them on the university’s pioneering schemes.
