Recruitment advertisement for Librarian at B.I.T. Mesra

Interested eligible candidates are requested to apply for the post of Librarian at BIT Mesra, Ranchi on Regular basis. They are required to submit their application in a prescribed application format.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RECRUITMENT:

1. Before applying for the post, candidate are advised to satisfy themselves about their eligibility. No enquiry in this regards will be entertained thereof.
2. The Institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill up the post advertised for any valid reasons whatsoever.
3. The Institute has a discretion to decrease or increase the number of advertised posts in case any vacancy arises.
4. Only shortlisted candidates who are found prima facie eligible based on the details given in the application will be called for interview.
5. The post is primarily located at main campus at Mesra, Ranchi but transferable to other Off Campuses if need arises.
6. The Institute reserve the right to withdraw an advertisement, either partly or wholly, at any time without assigning any reason.
7. Application not accompanied by necessary supporting documents, self-attested copies of degree certificates/ marks sheets / experience certificate and the incomplete application shall be rejected summarily.
8. The eligibility of candidate will be determined as on the last date fixed for receipt of Application Forms.
9. Institute will not be responsible for non-receipt of application(s) within the stipulated date due to any postal delay / loss of application / document sent in transit.
10. The Institute reserves the right to restrict the candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable number on the basis of qualification and experience higher than the minimum prescribed as decided by duly constituted Screening Committee(s) and approved by the Competent Authority. Call letters for attending interview will be sent only the short-listed candidates by speed post / registered post / E-mail. No correspondence will be entertained with the applicants who are not short-listed to be called for interview.
11. Any canvassing directly or indirectly by the applicant will disqualify his/her candidature. Any dispute with regard to the selection process against this notification will be settled within the jurisdiction of the Court / Tribunal over Ranchi only.
12. Candidates who are in employment with Government, Semi-Government, Autonomous Bodies, Public Undertakings, University and Educational Institutions should route their applications through proper channel with ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their present employer.
13.  In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection which may be detected at any stage even after the issuance of appointment letter, the University reserves the right to modify/ withdraw/ cancel any communication made to the candidates
14.  Any corrigendum/ addendum/errata in respect of the above advertisement shall be made available only at our Institute website www.bitmesra.ac.in. No further press advertisement will be given. Hence prospective applicants are advised to visit B.I.T. Mesra web site regularly for above purpose.
15. Filled in downloaded applications should be accompanied with a non-refundable demand draft of Rs. 750/- (Rupees Seven hundred fifty only) for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PHs and for candidates belonging to other categories a non-refundable demand draft of Rs.1500/- (Rupees One thousand five hundred only) drawn in favour of “Birla Institute of Technology” payable at Ranchi towards application fee. Candidates are advised to write their name and post applied for on the backside of the demand draft.
16. The filled-in downloaded application form along with enclosures and demand draft must be sent in a sealed envelope by speed/registered post to The Registrar, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi – 835215, Jharkhand so as to reach on or before the last date for submission of application i.e. 15^th April 2022. Please superscribe the envelope with the post applied for and advertisement number.

Check-list of documents to be submitted along with the application:

1. Filled-in downloaded application form in the prescribed format
2. Latest Passport size colour photograph
3. Attested copies of all certificates, mark sheets from SSC/HSC/Matriculation onwards
4. Attested copies of any other relevant certificates / testimonials
5. Attested copies of caste certificates for (SC/ST), certificates issued by the competent authorities,
6. Original demand draft
