Literature Search Service:
In order to find and search the appropriate literature for your research interest, we at BIT Central Library provide an array of academic databases, e-journals, and e-resources for your literature search and review.

Remote Access to Library Resources:
Library users can access all the subscribed library resources remotely from outside the campus.

We at BIT Central Library help In Managing the references of the research work by Providing information about Reference Management Tools.

Zotero:- It is a free, easy-to-use tool to help you collect, organize, annotate, cite, and share research. Download. Available for Mac, Windows, Linux, and iOS.

Mendeley:- Mendeley is a desktop and web program produced by Elsevier for managing and sharing research papers, discovering research data, and collaborating online.

EndNote:- is a commercial reference management software package used to manage bibliographies and references when writing essays and articles.
Research Writing Tools:
BIT Central Library offers a Grammar Check tool (Grammarly) for research work, It helps scholars to produce flawless project reports, theses, and dissertations. This tool detects and suggests corrections for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and style errors. It ensures that research documents are polished and effectively communicate ideas. It enhances the scholarly impact.
Library Users (Faculty, Staff, PhD scholars, and PG Students) may register to Grammarly by using official BIT Email IDs or mail us your request for account activation at library@bitmesra.ac.in
Plagiarism Checking Service:
Central Library BIT Mesra offers a similarity check service using a tool called iThenticate to its registered users. iThenticate is a leading originality-checking and plagiarism-prevention web tool that allows researchers to compare their contents against massive databases to ensure the work is original before submission. To get the plagiarism checking done and have the similarity report generated, please write to us at the below-mentioned email IDs along with a soft copy of the document to be checked in PDF, or DOCX file format.

Procedures for availing of this service
Mail your Name, Registration number, and course or branch to the email library@bitmesra.ac.in for your account creation on iThenticate. (Only available for Faculty Members, Research scholars and PG students.)

Users can also directly send their work to the library mail library@bitmesra.ac.in and the library will send the similarity report to your registered BIT email
