Pharmaceutical Society

Pharmaceutical Society of BIT, Mesra, established in the year 1976, is a body managed by the students and faculties of the Department which organizes various cultural and professional activities to nurture the young talents in the department. Faculties, research scholars, undergraduate and postgraduate students are members of the society. Cultural programs, debates, scientific quizzes, etc. are among the major activities of society. The society also carries out a welcoming of B. Pharm, M. Pharm and Ph.D students along with a farewell for outgoing B. Pharm and M. Pharm students every year.

PHARMBIT is an official scientific journal and annual publication of Pharmaceutical Society. The journal is devoted to publish review and research articles in pharmacy and the related disciplines of pharmaceutical education. 

Society organized and celebrated the Golden Jubilee during 16-18th December’2022. Many Alumni from India and abroad participated in this three-day Programme at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi. The Department felicitated the ex-Hods and retired non-teaching staff during this function. Various scientific sessions and networking sessions were also organized in which notable alumni interacted with the present students.
