1. Gourav Bhowmik (2010-2014):
Currently working with Applied Materials, Inc. in a senior Process Engineer position supporting manufacturing of semiconductor chips at Intel Corp in Portland, Oregon, USA.
PhD from State University of New York at Albany, 2014-2019.
After a brief exposure to post doctoral research at State University of New York, joined the semiconductor industry.
LEADERSHIP:
President and Advisor of Indian Student Organization (ISO) of the State University of New York (SUNY), the largest international student body in the state of New York from 2016 to 2019.
Chairman of SUNY's biggest diversity event, DIWALI NIGHT for two consecutive years in 2016 and 2017.
President of an academic organization, Nano Graduate Student Organization (NGSO) at the Colleges of Nanoscale Science & Engineering.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP:
Started a technology licensing company called LuxOrioN, and won second place in one of world's most competitive business competitions, New York Business Plan Competition in 2015.
Raised more than $40,000 in funds in various capacities for many events and activities in the capital region of Albany.
