M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering

The Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering is a 4 Semester (2 years) program aiming to develop students in such a way as to make them suitable for pursuing an excellent career in industry or to go for higher studies, research and teaching. The students are groomed to be able to design & manifest ideas. They are guided to attain clarity in basic concepts of Computer Science, apply the basic knowledge gained to develop solutions and be able to translate theories to realistic problems. In their 2-year journey towards excellence, they gather the capacity to explain and interpret existing tools as well as develop new ones.

 

Eligibility Criteria

 

GATE qualified candidates -  Based on academic record and GATE score

  • Merit list is prepared on the basis of 80% weightage to GATE Score and
  • 20% weightage to Class 10, 12 and graduation / Postgraduation marks  

Non-GATE candidates -  Based on academic record and Entrance Test

  • Merit list is prepared on the basis of 80% weightage to marks obtained in Entrance Test and
  • 20% weightage to Class 10, 12 and graduation / Postgraduation marks
