My research focuses on developing smart, biodegradable organic devices that can detect diseases such as cancer and diabetes at very early stages while offering safer, drug-free therapeutic options. By integrating chemistry and biology at the device level, I aim to sense biomolecules within the microenvironment and reprogram them to restore healthy functions. To achieve this, my work involves the synthesis of organic and nanomaterials, validation through in vitro cell culture, and subsequent testing in preclinical animal models. The ultimate goal is to deliver affordable, eco-friendly solutions for diagnostics and therapies that reduce mortality, improve quality of life, and address global healthcare challenges.
