Professional Background

Dr. Gautam Sen is a faculty at department of Chemistry, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi (BIT MESRA). His specialization includes physical chemistry, surface phenomenon, polymer chemistry & Instrumental techniques of chemical analysis. A total number of eight PhD’s has been awarded under his supervision/co-supervision. He has authored around 60 research papers (almost all in SCI/SCIE indexed journals) and 11 book chapters. Recently a patent and a Book(Elsevier) have been authored by him. His works resulted in over 3600 citations (Goggle Scholar) leading to a h-Index of 34.

 Synthesis of novel grafted polysaccharides, peptones & proteins and study of their applications as:
