Brief Description

Bhaskar Karn received his Ph.D. in Fuzzy Information Retrieval and an M.Sc. in Information Science from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi – India. I have guided 5Ph.Ds and completed one UGC Major Project. Apart from teaching and research he has been assigned many additional responsibilities by the University; such as Dy. Controller of Examination (Nov 2017 onwards), Associate Dean (Students’ Welfare 2013 - 16) ,Member, Internal Quality Assurance Cell, BIT, Mesra, Executive Member, BITCC Stores, 2007 –2010, Secretary , Staff Club, BIT, Mesra, 2007-2008, Prof. In – Charge (NAPS) BIT, Mesra , 2000-2010, Hostel Warden from September 2004 to February 2013. . His current research focuses primarily on Information Systems, Soft Computing, Machine Learning, Social Perception Grading and Data Analysis
