About me

I started my academic career from BIT, Mesra, Ranchi by working as a project fellow in a UGC sponsored project in year 2002.I registered for my Ph.D. with thesis title “Fuzzy Approach to Multiple Criteria Decision Making Problems” and after completion joined as a faculty in BIT, Mesra in year 2008. It has been almost 11years working here and it seems like yesterday only. I extended my research topic to fuzzy optimization, intutionistic fuzzy optimization. I have completed a UGC sponsered major research project,”A Decision support system for vendor selection problem under intuitionistic fuzzy environment". I also got a lot of opportunities to attend national/international workshops and conferences. I have attended a workshop in Tignes, France in 2013 and even presented an international paper in a Turkey conference hosted by Mersin university in year 2015.My research interest includes Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) & Fuzzy MCDM, Intuitionistic fuzzy sets, Optimization (Fuzzy and Intutionistic), Inventory management and Medical diagnosis. Currently I am working in intutionistic fuzzy optimization application particularly in vendor selection problem. In teaching too have taught several courses and member of several doctoral committees of other departments. The study of Mathematics like the Nile begins with minuteness but ends with magnificence
