Dr. Govind Sharan Dangayach, Director, BIT Mesra, Jaipur erstwhile a Professor (HAG) of Mechanical Engineering and has served as Dean, Research & Consultancy; & Dean, Planning & Development, Head of Mechanical Engineering Department, Head of Department of Management Studies, Chief Vigilance Officer, and Chief Nodal Officer, NIRF Ranking at Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur.   

Prof. Dangayach received Master of Technology in Production Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Prof Dangayach is a prolific researcher in Sustainable Manufacturing and Operations Management and has authored over 350 high quality research papers with citation of 6650 plus, h-index of 40 plus, and i-index of 110 plus. He is Guest Editor of International Journals including Production Planning & Control (PPC), International Journal of Manufacturing Technology & Management (IJMTM), International Journal of Business Performance Management (IJBPM), and International Journal of Precision Technology (IJPTECH). He is Associate Editor of International Journal of Business & Systems Research (IJBSR), International Journal of Global Business and Competitiveness (IJGBC), Journal of Micro Manufacturing.

Prof. Dangayach has held visiting positions at DHBW Mosbach, Germany, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) Bangkok, IIM Khozikode, and IIM Shillong. He delivered several Invited Lectures/ Keynote addresses in India & abroad. He has 40 years of Teaching and Industrial Experience. He has guided 30 Ph.D. & 72 master’s theses. He is Life member of various International & National professional Societies.

Prof. Dangayach is a well awarded and honored scholarly professional at the national and international levels, cited in the list of TOP 20 prolific researchers of the world in 2015; and Won 2011 Emerald/IAM Research Fund Award. He has contributed significantly to the domain as Principal Investigator of two DST (Govt. of India) funded Research projects.

Prof. Dangayach is Resource person/Expert of AICTE, UPSC and NBA Govt. of India. He has been nominated Member of Board of Management of Rajasthan Technical University by Govt. of Rajasthan. He is Member of BOS, BOG of several Universities in India. He is member of Selection committee of faculty in Various NITs. Member of Selection Committee at UPSC, UPPSC, BPSC, and HPPSC. He is Fellow of The Institution of Engineers, India and was Chairman of Rajasthan State Centre.
