The computer labs are well-equipped with modern hardware and technology to support various computing needs. The personal computers in each lab have a decent configuration, with i5 & i3 processors, 4GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage.

The Personal Computers in the lab are connected to a Local Area Network (LAN), which can facilitate communication and resource sharing between devices in the same network.

The availability of a 50 Mbps leased line from Tata Teleservices and a 100 Mbps broadband connection from BSNL in the lab provide students with high-speed internet access, which is useful for data-intensive tasks like downloading large files or streaming videos. Online applications like Online Oracle is of significant utility. The combination of a leased line and a broadband connection also ensures that the internet connectivity is reliable and uninterrupted.

The Computer Hardware & Network Lab is equipped with more powerful machines, featuring i5 processors, 8GB of RAM, and a combination of 128GB SSD and 1TB SATA HDD storage. The addition of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi integration also be helpful for wireless connectivity.

Labs are having online UPS for backup power supply to prevent data loss or damage due to unexpected power outages, and the availability of a generator supply during labs ensures continuous operation. LCD projectors in each lab is used for presentations and group work.

The Computer Hardware lab has PC Hardware Trainers in sufficient numbers to help students identify and understand various components of a Personal Computer. This can be a valuable resource for students to learn about computer hardware and how it works. The trainers can also be helpful in demonstrating various types of faults and how to troubleshoot them, which can be an important skill for students.

Additionally, the availability of computer servers in the lab is beneficial for students to understand the concept of client-server configuration, which is a fundamental aspect of computer networking. It’s essential for students to have hands- experience with servers and client systems to fully comprehend the network's function and to develop the necessary skills for network administration and management.

Additionally, having all PCs connected to the internet can be beneficial for research and accessing online resources.High-speed internet connectivity in the lab is a significant advantage for students, as it helps them access information and resources quickly and efficiently, enhancing their learning experience. A variety of software is available in our computer department, including both licensed and freeware options, to cater to the academic needs of our students and faculty members.

We have licensed versions of operating systems such as Windows 98, XP, and Windows 11, as well as Linux (freeware) for academic use.

To conduct fundamentals of computer lab, we have licensed versions of MS-Office 365, as well as freeware like WPS Office. For web-based application development, we have software such as XAMPP, WAMP, Notepad++, VS Code, an Studio 2022.

For various programming labs, we have freeware compilers like Turbo C, Dev C++, BlueJ, JDK, and Python etc.

For conducting database-based labs, we have MySQL.

GUI-based software development tools such as Visual Studio 6.0 and .NET are also available in our labs. In addition, we provide advanced software like licensed versions of circuit simulation software Edwin-XP, and AutoCAD, MATLAB for academic purposes.

As part of additional facility, we have created facility for IOT Lab as well. Students can work on Raspberry Pi, Arduino kits. Kits are available in with various types of sensor modules. Students can develop projects using these kits.

Student can explore the filed of Electronics we have lifetime license of circuit simulation software Edwin-XP with lifetime support.

We have acquired the complete suite of Adobe Premiere Pro to enable students to learn video and image editing, and licensed versions of Adobe PDF are also available for academic and research use by our faculty members. To ensure free operation, antivirus software is also available.
