Dr. Sonal was awarded the Women Researcher Award for her research article “Hybrid Data-Driven Resilience Assessment and Enhancement of Distribution System for Cyclone Susceptible Zone” in the 2nd International Award Ceremony & Conference for Women Researchers, Pondicherry, India, September 27-28, 2025.
Dr. Nilesh Kumar Rajalwal was awarded the Best paper award at the IEEE North-East India International Energy Conversion Conference and Exhibition (NE-IECCE-2025) organized by IEEE IAS Joint Chapter Silchar Subsection and Dept. of Electrical Engineering, NIT Silchar from 04^th – 6^th July 2025.
Dr. Sonal served as the Session Chair during National Seminar on Green Energy, Environment and Technology (NSGEET 2025), Department of Electrical Engineering, National Institute of Technical Teachers' Training & Research, Kolkata in collaboration with Star Cement Limited, Shillong, Meghalaya.
