The Chemistry Department has been engaged in teaching of Chemistry and Environmental Science courses for undergraduate student. Department has well established fuel technology and water quality testing laboratories. The faculties of the department are engaged in research work in the area of oscillatory chemical reactions, pattern formation, bio-diesel, environmental pollution and Electro chemical machining. The Department has been involved in promoting environmental awareness among the tribal and rural population. The department has also started Ph.D. program. The department has been highly motivated to develop high quality research.
