Promotion of University Research and Scientific Excellence(PURSE)
1. I understand that the DST PURSE ARMLEGS lab has a capacity of 30 seats, and I will be allocated one system based on availability.
2. I agree to occupy the system and seat assigned to me for the duration of my work in the lab.
3. Any change in seating arrangement or system allocation must be approved by the lab in-charge. I will adhere to this policy.
1. I acknowledge that I must credit the DST PURSE program in my publications using the suggested acknowledgment line: “This research was conducted using the facilities provided by DST PURSE 2022 Grant of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi." (Unless you are in another sponsored or externally funded research project)
2. I understand that failure to acknowledge DST PURSE in my publications may result in restricted access to the lab in the future
1. I agree that I am responsible for the care and proper use of the system assigned to me, and I accept any penalties or compensation requirements in case of damages due to negligence.
2. I understand that data security and management are solely my responsibility, and I am expected to back up my data regularly.
3. I will use the system strictly for academic and research purposes and understand that misuse of resources may result in disciplinary action.
1. I agree to provide a brief description of how the DST PURSE ARMLEGS lab has contributed to my research, including details such as data analysis, model simulations, or other research activities.
1. I agree to adhere to lab timing schedules and respect the quiet research environment of the lab.
2. I understand that food and drinks are not allowed inside the lab.
3. I understand that the lab reserves the right to revoke access for scholars who do not comply with the lab regulations, misuse equipment, or behave in a disruptive manner.
1. I agree not to install any unauthorized software on the lab systems, and I will seek approval from the lab administrator for any installations.
2. I will use the system only for my assigned research and will not share my assigned system with others without prior permission.
1. I understand that the use of lab facilities will be subject to periodic review to ensure proper utilization and compliance with the terms and conditions.
2. I agree to provide a summary of my research progress if requested to ensure that the lab facilities are being used efficiently.
3. This format ensures that scholars must agree to every term and condition without the option to refuse, making it clear that these are mandatory requirements.
