At BIT Mesra, the Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) program offers a path to one of the most dynamic and competitive industries globally. BIT Mesra’s well-known BHMCT program has been successfully training hospitality professionals since 2003, despite the BHM program’s recent inception. With a legacy of strong industry connections and successful alumni, the new BHM builds on this foundation, updated to reflect the fast-paced, ever-evolving hospitality world. Our students have made their mark internationally, thriving in their respective fields. Established businesses such as ITC Hotels, Taj Hotels, Marriott, MakeMyTrip, Swiggy, and Reliance Retail hire alumni, and some of them have succeeded globally in renowned hotels and airlines in Germany, the US, and Qatar.

To enhance the practical skills, the Department offers excellent amenities. You will learn skills to whip up various cuisines, work on tandoori and halwai fields, and operate cold buffets in Food Production Lab 1. Food Production Lab 2 focuses on Baking skills, the Accommodation Operation Laundry Lab offers linen care training, and also facilitates subtlety of flower arrangements. The students will get access to practice various service approaches at Restaurant Prayas, craft cocktails at The Cask (our training bar), and the Front Office Lab will demonstrate to you what it takes to organize in this sector
