Debomita Ghosh received her B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering from WBUT, M.E  degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems) and Ph.D. in Engineering from BIT Mesra, Ranchi.  Currently, she is Asst. Professor of Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department at BIT, Mesra, Ranchi, India.

She has joined the Instiute in July 2008. Her current research activities are concentrated on protection and reliability analysis of power system network, wide area measurement system, phasor measurement units, smart grid.
