Department regularly organizes seminars /workshops /conferences.

Industrial Visit of BCA Students: Department of Computer Science, Birla Institute of Technology Mesra, Jaipur Campus organised an Industrial Visit for Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) students on 2^nd April 2024. Around 51 students from BCA 1^st to 3^rd year took part in this one day trip. Through this industrial visit program students got the opportunity to visit and learn.
A short term course on Computer Networking and Practical Aspects was organized on 22^nd March 2024 by IOT club of department of Computer science at Off campus,Jaipur.
Unlocking Web development : A workshop was organized to share the web development technologies with the students by students on 21^st March under GDSC and coding club of computer Science department at Off-Campus, Jaipur.
A Generative AI workshop was organized to explore the new technology by computer science department faculty coordinator and students on 9th March 2024 under Coding club of computer science department at Off-Campus, Jaipur. Mr. TriviKarma Kothinti (AIR Rank 93, IIT JEE 2012) delivered the lectures in this workshop,
AI/ML workshop was organized to explore the new technologies by computer science department faculty coordinator and students on 6-7th March 2024. (2 days) under GDSC (Google development for students club)
A Java workshop was organized for java skill development by computer science department faculty coordinator and students on 5-7th March 2024. (3 days) under the CSI Orientation activity.
Invited Talk on “Machine learning for Computer Vision Applications” by Dr. Manisha Sharma (Former Associate Professor at Banasthali and presently Artificial Intelligence Consultant at A3Logics, Jaipur) Dated 30^th Jan 2024. Venue: Seminar Hall, BIT Off-campus. Jaipur.

Industrial Visit of BCA Students : Department of Computer Science, Birla Institute of Technology Mesra, Jaipur Campus organised an Industrial Visit for Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) students on 2^nd April 2024. Around 51 students from BCA 1^st to 3^rd year took part in this one day trip. Through this industrial visit program students got the opportunity to visit and learn.

Bhamashah State Data Centre: DOIT : Bhama Shah Data Centre located in Jhalana Doongri location at Jaipur happens to be India's biggest government-owned, operated, controlled, and managed Tier 4 Data Centre
Bhamasha Technohub : Country’s Largest Startup Incubation hub having 700 seat capacity. 7-story Bhamashah Technohub provides startups free use of its plug-and-play workstations, conference facilities, cafeteria, tinkering labs, gym etc.
Rufil - Dairy products Manufactures and Suppliers : Rufil is a Jaipur-based dairy product manufacturer in India that supplies dairy products such as Milk, Yogurt, Ghee, Butter, Ice Creams etc.

Students enjoyed this one day trip and got an opportunity to learn from the people working and managing at these places. They were given a full tour of the office at all three places and interacted with the officials and had one to one interaction and their queries were answered by the professionals.
