  Professional Background

Dr. Prateem holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Patna, with research focused on smart grids, power system analysis, and the application of machine learning in Electrical Engineering. Prior to joining BIT Mesra, He worked as a Grid Compliance Specialist Engineer at GE Vernova, Chennai, where he was involved in grid code compliance studies and inverter modeling for international markets. He also has experience as a Power System Engineer at Continuum Associates, LLC, conducting power system studies for renewable energy projects. He has also served as an Assistant Professor at Presidency University, Bangalore. Earlier in his career, He worked as Software developer at Oracle India Pvt Ltd, Bangalore, where he contributed to the development of investment banking platforms. With a strong industrial background across multiple sectors, He brings valuable practical experience to his academic work and research.
