This initiative focuses on the pioneering development and meticulous characterization of the Underwater Friction Stir Welding (UWFSW) process. Generously sponsored by the National Project Implementation Unit (NPIU) through the TEQIP Collaborative Research Scheme, this project has been granted INR 13.82 Lakhs to support its comprehensive execution. With a duration spanning from 18th June 2019 to 30th September 2020, our aim is to achieve remarkable advancements in the realm of friction stir welding, particularly within underwater environments.
