I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Quality Assurance, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology, Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Mesra, Jharkhand. I completed my Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru (NIRF-6) with India’s most prestigious, industry sponsored (Xenone healthcare pvt.ltd, New Delhi) ANRF-CII Prime Minister's Fellowship for Doctoral Research. I obtained my M.S.(Pharm.) in Pharmaceutical Analysis from the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Guwahati, in 2020, securing the University Gold Medal with a CGPA of 9.78.

I previously worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, under the guidance of Prof.Koel Chaudhury, where I gained research experience in LC-MS/MS based metabolomics and lipidomics. My research interests include LC-MS/MS method development and validation, pharmaceutical quality assurance, nitrosamine impurity profiling, high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS), biomarker discovery, cancer research and translational omics.

My technical expertise includes HPLC, UPLC-MS/MS, LC-HRMS, GC-MS/MS and advanced analytical techniques, with research experience in method development, validation, Quality by Design (QbD), Greenness assessment, impurity profiling and analytical data interpretation.

I have authored and co-authored more than 40 research and review publications in reputed international journals, contributed to book chapters. My academic and research contributions have been recognised through several awards and fellowships, including the ANRF-CII Prime Minister's Fellowship, JSS AHER Fellowship, Gold Medal from Hon'ble Governor of Assam for securing 9.78 CGPA in pharmaceutical Analysis at NIPER-Guwahati, First Prize in an LC-MS/MS workshop organised jointly by Thermo Fisher Scientific and SCIEX (2024).
