B.Arch. and IMSC Programs 2022

at Main Campus, Mesra

[INSTITUTE LEVEL COUNSELLING]

 

Applications are invited from the prospective candidates for admission to B.Arch. and IMSC(Physics, Chemistry & Food Technology) Programs at Mesra Campus, against few vacant seats in Home State / All India pool for the Academic Session 2022-23.

CANDIDATES MUST SATISFY THE FOLLOWING ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  1. Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st October 1997 are eligible for admission. However, in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, i.e. SC, ST and Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates who were born on or after 1st October 1992 are eligible for admission. Date of Birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board (Class X, High School) certificate only will be taken as authentic.
  2. Candidate must have passed in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII), or its equivalent, referred to as the qualifying examination.
  3. Subject combinations required in the qualifying examination for admission to B.Arch. and IMSC Programs shall be as under:

 Integrated M.Sc. in Physics and Food Technology
  1. Physics
  2. Mathematics
  3. Any one of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocation subject.
  4. A Language
  5. Any subject other than the above four

 

Integrated M.Sc. in Chemistry

Pass in Class 12 / equivalent examination with English,  Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology and having at least 60% (50% for SC/ST/PwD) marks in average of 4 subjects - English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology

 

B.Arch.
  1. Physics
  2. Mathematics
  3. Chemistry
  4. Other two subjects.

 

 

  1. The candidate must have appeared in JEE-Main 2022 and having valid Common Rank List (CRL Rank) in JEE-Main 2022. For B.Arch. program, the candidate must have CRL Rank in B.Arch. Paper.
  2. Candidate applying for B.Arch. program must have valid NATA Score conducted by Council of Architecture (CoA).
  3. Applicants who have appeared and have valid rank in NEET/ ICAR AIEEA (UG) 2022, may also apply for B.Tech. (Biotechnology) and Integrated M.Sc. (Chemistry). However, their admission will be considered only after applicants who have valid CRL rank in JEE-Main / NATA Score 2022 have been considered and admitted, subject to the availability of seats.
  4. Economically Weaker Section (GEN-EWS): As per the Govt. of India norms. Applicants will be required to provide the GEN-EWS certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format on the basis of last financial year 2021-22. A certificate should have been issued on or after 1st April 2022. [Please refer separate link to download the format]

NOTES:

  • In case any Board awards grades instead of marks, the calculation of equivalent percentage of marks would be as based on the procedure prescribed by the Board or in case, the Board does not prescribe any procedure, it will be GPA x 10.
  • Candidate must have adequate proficiency in written & spoken English to cope with the program as all instruction and examinations will be in English only.
  • At any level of the studies [Class X or Class XII], a candidate / applicant must have passed all the required subjects at that level from the same Board.

How to Apply:  

  • To fill online application form, click on the link “APPLY ONLINE” to register for the program and create password for the application process. Do not share the password with anybody.  Refer instructions for filling online application form.
  • Eligible candidates must complete and submit the application form online only [link given below].
  • Pay application fee of Rs.1,500/- (General / EWS candidates) and Rs.1,000/- (SC/ST candidates) through Online Payment Gateway (candidates may use net banking / debit card / credit card) till the last date of application process. Fee once remitted will not be refunded.

Important Instructions:

  1. Please fill and submit the application form online only, take printout of the same and retain with you.
  2. Upload marksheets of Class 10, Class 12, Caste Certificate and Score card of JEE-Main 2022 /NATA Score.

 

 

 

Selection Procedure:

Provisional selections to B.Arch. and IMSC (Physics and Food Technology) Program will be made as per the following norms:

  1. Merit list will be prepared based on All India Rank (CRL Rank) in JEE-MAIN 2022 / NATA Score 2022, as applicable. However, candidates must meet the age criteria and other minimum academic requirements [see eligibility criteria].
  2. Selection will be based on various reservation criteria of State and Central Government.

Selection Procedure for IMSC Chemistry:

Screening Test. However, candidates must meet the age criteria and other minimum academic requirements (see Eligibility Criteria).
