at BIT Jaipur and BIT Noida Campuses

Spot admission against vacant seats will be conducted for BBA, BCA & B.Sc. (Animation & Multimedia) programmes at BIT Jaipur & BIT Noida Campuses for the session 2019-20, as per schedule given below.

Interested and eligible candidates may report for counselling cum spot admission.

Reporting date: From 29th July 2019 to 14th August 2019,

Reporting time: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

The Institute will remain closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Candidates should please see below for details of the eligibility criteria, detailed list of certificates/ documents to carry at the time of reporting for counselling, and fees payable at time of admission.

(A) ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  1. Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1 October 1994 are eligible for admission. However, in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, i.e. SC, ST and Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates who were born on or after 1 October 1989 are eligible for admission. Date of Birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board (Class X, High School) certificate only will be taken as authentic.

BCA

  1. Candidates must have minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST/PwD) marks in Class X*.
  2. Candidates must have passed Class XII* / Equivalent Qualifying Examination with minimum
    50% (45% for SC/ST/PwD) marks with English and Mathematics / Computer Science / Information Practice / Info Tech & Prog-II as subjects in the qualifying examination.

B.Sc. Animation & Multimedia

  1. Candidates must have passed Class 12* / Equivalent Qualifying Examination with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST/ PwD) marks (average of 4 core subjects)
  2. Percentage of marks in Class12 / Equivalent Qualifying Examination to be computed as average of English + Best 3 other core subjects.

* [The percentage of marks in Class X and Class XII / equivalent qualifying examination shall be considered based on the Board’s calculation of percentage for the award of Division / Degree / Certificate].

NB: Caste certificates must be in proper format and signed by appropriate authority of rank not below the SDO.

 (B) HOW TO APPLY

Interested candidates must report in person and submit the Application Form by 2:00 pm on the day of counselling at Campus with:

  1. Duly completed application form (The link for downloading application form is given below)
  2. Originals and a set of photocopies of all documents listed below
  3. Crossed Demand Draft for Rs 1,500/- (General) and Rs. 1,000/- (SC/ST) candidates in favour of “Birla Institute of Technology”, payable at the city where reporting for.

  (C) Selection Procedure:

BBA & BCA programmes:

The provisional selection will be made of merit based on marks obtained by the candidates in Class XII / Intermediate or equivalent qualifying examination, and as per reservation policy of the Institute. The provisionally selected candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria given above, else the offers will be withdrawn. Provisionally selected candidates will be required to deposit the fees and complete the admission formalities by 5:00 pm on the day of counselling.

B.Sc. (Animation & Multimedia):

Selection will be made on merit based on marks obtained in the required subject in Class 12/QE and performance in Creative Aptitude Test & Interview.  However, candidates must meet the age criteria and other minimum academic requirements (see Eligibility Criteria).

Weightage of marks considered in merit list is 40% for creativity aptitude test +10% Interview + 50% for Class 12 marks.

The provisional selection list will be notified by 3:00 pm on the day of counselling and provisionally selected candidates will be required to deposit the fees and complete the admission formalities by 5:00 pm on the day of counselling. It is therefore recommended that candidates should carry the requisite fees to be deposited at the time of admission,

 (D) FEES PAYABLE:

Institute Fees: Rs.81,500/- for admission to BBA and BCA programmes and Rs. 1,00,000/- for admission to B.Sc. (Animation & Multimedia) programme in favour of “Birla Institute of Technology”, payable at the city where reporting for admission.

(E) List of original certificates & documents required during counselling:

Candidates must carry the originals of the following documents at the time of reporting for spot admission, as well as one set of photocopies:

  1. Pass certificate of Class X (for age proof)
  2. Marksheet of Class X 
  3. Marksheet of Class XII / Intermediate or equivalent
  4. Caste certificate / special category certificate (if applicable)
  5. School / College Leaving Certificate
  6. Migration Certificate
  7. One passport size photograph, identical to the photograph affixed in the application form
  8. Photo identification: (Driving license, Passport, PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, School / College ID are acceptable)

Documents required at the time of admission:

If found eligible for admission, candidates will be required to show all original documents and submit School / College Leaving Certificate and Migration Certificate at the time of admission, along with the requisite fees.

Classes have already been commenced from 16th July 2019.

Admission is subject to submission and verification of original documents and certificates.
