Applications are invited from eligible candidates against few vacant seats in different categories as indicated below for the following full-time postgraduate in M.Tech., M.Pharm., MUP and M.Sc. programs of the Institute, for the session 2018-19.

How to Apply:
To apply for the above programme against vacant seats, eligible candidates must download and print the Application Form (please click on the link given below), and bring the completed form along with two recent colour photographs (one pasted on the form), originals and photocopies of all marksheets and certificates and a crossed Demand Draft of Rs.2,950/- for General and Rs.1,770/- (SC/ST) candidates (inclusive of GST charges) non-refundable, towards application fee in favour of “Birla Institute of Technology”, payable at Ranchi, and report as below**.

Candidates, who had applied earlier for any of the programme but could not appear for the counselling / Test or not selected, need not make fresh application. However, they will be required to carry a DD of differential fee of Rs. 450/- (General/OBC) and Rs. 270/- (SC/ST) towards GST charges and must bring a photocopy of their old application form. In case, candidates do not have photocopy of their application form, should report at Admission Office at 9:00 am before proceeding to respective Department.
**Eligible candidates should report at the campus as per date & timings mentioned above with completed application form and all relevant certificates and documents in original, and one set of photocopies of each for Registration, Test and counselling, and verification of documents at the office of the respective Head of the Department at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, or
Director of its Off Campus: Candidates applying for the M.Tech. (ECE-Wireless Communication) and M.Tech. (CSE) at BIT Patna campus should appear for Test and counselling at BIT Patna Campus only.
Note:
1. You may use one application form to apply for ONLY one programme – M.Tech. or M.Sc. or MUP programme. However, one application form can be used to apply for various specializations for the following M.Tech. programmes.
(i) M.Tech. Civil Engineering (ii) M.Tech. Electrical Engineering (iii) M.Tech. ECE (iv) M.Tech. SER (v) M.Tech. Mechanical Engineering and (vi) M.Pharm. etc.
2. Candidates who have appeared for final examinations in 2018 can also apply, and if selected can join the programme provisionally. Provisionally selected candidates will be required to produce proof of passing their qualifying examinations with requisite minimum marks by 31 October 2018, failing which the provisional admission will be cancelled.
Candidates must visit our website http://www.bitmesra.ac.in periodically for updates / any other matters pertaining to admission procedures.
The Institute also reserves the right not to offer a particular programme in case the number of students found to be eligible to be admitted is less than 30% in number.
Candidates are advised to come prepared to stay on campus and attend classes immediately.
