  Professional Background
  1. Junior Research Fellow, “Image Analysis for Preservation & Archiving of Indian Cultural Heritage” sponsored by DST (Dept. of Science and Technology), Govt. of India. Duration: 2010 (Sept) - 2013 (Oct), Place: IIT Kharagpur
    • I have developed a web based system and user interface for archival and retrieval of heritage images. My research goals were to improve the content based retrieval performance and duplicate image detection of heritage data.
  2. Senior Research Fellow, “GPU based multi-temporal implementation of image change detection algorithms and their verification” sponsored by ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization), IIT Kharagpur Cell. Duration: 2013 (Nov) - 2014 (July), Place: IIT Kharagpur
    • Cuda based times series analysis and change detection. I have gained brief experience on Hadoop.
  3. Lead Engineer, “Analysis of Histopathology Images using Deep Learning”, AIRA Matrix (Formally known as Aditya Imaging Technology), Duration: 2020 (March) - 2021 (May) Place: Mumbai
    • Hystopathological parameter segmentation using deep learning (Caffe and Tensor Flow). My research was to segment different histopathilogical parameters such as cyst, ulcer, hyaline droplets, etc. from rat’s histopathology images of kidney, and stomach. Further, I have worked on style transfer of histopathological stains to improve accuracy of object detection. Last, I worked on a deep anomaly detection technique to detect stain artefact and histopathology objects.
  4. Assistant Professor Sr. Grade 1 at Vellor Institute of Technology-Ap, Duration: 2021 (May) - 2021 (August), Place: Amaravati
  Research Areas

  1. Image Processing and Computer Vision: : Keen interest on heritage image processing.
  2. Remote Sensing: Currently working on land class classification using multi-spectral images.
  3. Machine and Deep Learning: Currently working on deep anomaly detection and style transfer.
  4. Multimedia Systems.
