Career Summary-

Sohini Ghosh is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Patna Campus. She has completed her Masters in Human Development from Calcutta University followed by MBA with HR (major) and Marketing (minor) specializations from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), erstwhile West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT). She began her career in the industry after an MBA, where her job profile gave her experience in HR activities. Thereafter she joined teaching to optimize the best of academics and industry. While teaching in BIT Kolkata Campus, she had the additional responsibilities of grooming the students for placements, was actively involved in the cultural activities of the organisation and mentored the students for the newsletter, “Communique” by BIT Kolkata Campus, Management Department. She has published several papers in international and national journals and conference proceedings. Her research area includes Performance Management, HSE and green HRM.

The data of 8 companies, other than Castrol were collected, analyzed and compared with that of Castrol and recommendations were given accordingly.
