M.TECH (Control System)

Course Details

The Department offers Master of Technology in Electrical Engineering with three different specializations, namely Control Systems, Power Systems and Power Electronics. Recently new courses in the areas of Neural Networks, Fuzzy Logic Control, Genetic Algorithms, Information Technology and Advanced Microprocessor interfacing have been introduced at post graduate level. They are currently being percolated to undergraduate level too.

 

 

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for admission to M.Tech is specified on the institutes website under Admissions.

GATE qualified candidates – Based on academic record and GATE score

  • Merit list is prepared on the basis of 80% weightage to GATE Score and
  • 20% weightage to Class 10, 12 and graduation / Postgraduation marks  

Non-GATE candidates – Based on academic record and Entrance Test

  • Merit list is prepared on the basis of 80% weightage to marks obtained in Entrance Test and
  • 20% weightage to Class 10, 12 and graduation / Postgraduation marks
