 The Department of Applied Mathematics offers comprehensive Courses in different fields of Applied Mathematics. It conducts all the mathematics courses offered in different branches of engineering, management, pharmaceutical sciences, architecture and the University polytechnic. The faculty members here are actively engaged in research and development activities. To assist in higher studies, it is equipped with a modern computer center with latest scientific software such as MATLAB, MATHCAD, MINITAB, SPSS, etc. |
BIT Mesra establishes a Micrometeorological Observational System on Campus The Department has established a land Surface Observational System including agro meteorological observatory and micrometeorological tower at Main campus of the Institute at Mesra. The Set-up includes various ground-based equipment to measure and record soil temperature at different depths, soil heat flux, soil moisture, rainfall, humidity, evaporation and duration of sunshine.
